Helin Art In Community 09/2013-11/2014 2014-15 Nature and Arts Education for Migrant Children in Shanghai The organization donated a series of picture books about natural art (entitled "Xiaomis Seasonal Journeys") to the primary schools of migrant workers' children that lie in Shanghai's peripheral suburbs, and presented interactive multimedia-based lessons that introduce seasonal things ranging from nature to culture. This educational approach enables the students to discover the beauties of Mother Nature, appreciate the nature, understand tradition and customs, and develop an aesthetic sense. This facility organizes regular events such as picture-book reading and group recreation activities which are intended to enrich the kids’ childhood, help them build self-esteem and the sense of community and prepare them for city life.
