Our Grants

CYSFF seeks to work with non government organisations led by like-minded individuals as our strategic partners, in pioneering solutions and launching innovative programs; addressing the needs of identified groups and communities.

In order to maximize the impact and effectiveness of the programmes we sponsor, CYSFF has key areas of focus. By predominantly concentrating our efforts on childhood literacy and vision correction; including library and reading programs for young children, education support for Hong Kong's ethnic minority communities, and providing universal eyecare to developing nations, we have built up a level of domain expertise that makes our Foundation a key resource for these issues.

To maximize the impact and effectiveness of each grant, CYSFF has developed a process, which is applied to all our grant-making activities.

Governed by the Foundation's Allocation Resource Manual, the CYSFF Advisory Committee will discuss and approve approaches that enhance children's learning and personal development. Where the non government organization has a grant funding proposal that fits within our funding interest areas and geographic focus, we welcome you to complete the Pre-Proposal Inquiry application form. Please read our specific instructions before submitting a funding request.

With regard to vision correction proposals, please forward any enquiries to [email protected] for more information.
