Jennifer Chen

Jennifer Chen is the Chief Executive of The Chen Yet-Sen Family Foundation, the global foundation focusing on initiatives supporting early childhood literacy and vision correction. She led all Asia operations for the Clearly campaign, which shifted global public perception of vision correction. The campaign led to the founding of the UN ‘Friends of Vision’ group in 2018 and the UN’s unanimous ‘Vision for Everyone’ resolution in 2021. Jennifer joined the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness Board of Trustees in May 2024.

In response to the significant disruption of funding for Hong Kong NGOs due to COVID-19, Jennifer led the launch of the 2020 #BridgetheGapHK campaign focusing on funders providing access to unrestricted funding that offered a vital lifeline of liquidity to charities across Hong Kong.

Jennifer is also the Director of Philanthropic Engagement at Legacy Advisors, a thriving family office in Hong Kong, and is a Board Member and senior advisor to charities including Social Impact Partners and Bring Me a Book Hong Kong.
