Stone Soup Happy Reading Alliance: Visit Hangzhou School

In the past, the Stone Soup Happy Reading Alliance (SSHRA) schools focused on experiential learning from schools in Hong Kong and Taiwan to understand their methods of reading promotion and library development. From October 27 to 28, 2021 – we invited 12 people from our Alliance Schools to travel to Hangzhou, where we visited 2 schools.

The key objective of this visit was to inspire the Alliance School Principals to learn how to integrate reading into student’s learning and teacher’s subject teaching from other schools’ experience. It will help to build the Hefei program development to the next level, from “learn to read” to “read to learn”. Also, shared the experience of SSHRA reading culture and construction with the schools in Hangzhou.
