Open Day – Online Forum

 

The Stone Soup Happy Reading Alliance is a regional reading program funded by The Chen Yet-Sen Family Foundation in Hefei, Anhui Province. Established in 2012, the Alliance is committed to bringing on-campus reading and library development as a long-term development goal of the Alliance school’s education program. In particular we encourage attention on personal and emotional development, insisting on establishing a happy, free and independent campus reading culture. The alliance schools jointly promote the construction of reading culture and the development of school libraries in schools in the region through experience sharing and exchange of mutual assistance. After nearly ten years of development, the Alliance is proud to have 40 schools in Anhui province. 

  

We hope to extend this sharing platform to promote the experiences of different countries and regions and inspire our children to read. We will provide helpful teaching strategies for those interested about the development of education to better understand the benefits of children's reading and how to construct a nurturing reading culture and environment.

 

The Chen Yet-Sen Family Foundation are proud to announce that our online sharing forum will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021.  Our theme "Reading in Fun, Unlimited Childhood - "Stone Soup" Forum: Exploring the Practical Path to Promote School Reading".
